Welcome to Climate Adaptation in Agronomy with Satellite Technology. This event is being organised within the Agri-Tech Week as part of a project targeting stakeholders in delivering ‘the last mile’ of innovation to farms. Activities include discussions/interactions, culminating in a report to be submitted to the funders, Space4Climate.
This event aims to showcase to the community the benefits and opportunities of using satellite imagery, as well as discussing barriers. We’ll have short presentations, a panel session, Q&A, and interactive feedback.
- Real-world applications of satellite imagery to agriculture – ADAS
- The role of IoT sensors and satellite communication, including ground truthing – Lacuna Space
- Data management on farms and the role of digital information – Ceres Research
- Panel discussion
