ADOPT funding - Round 2 opens

Accelerating Development of Practices and Technologies Fund (ADOPT) is part of Defra’s Farming Innovation Programme, with the aim to fund on-farm trial and demonstration projects to improve adoption of new ideas or solutions in the agricultural sector. The first funding round of ADOPT opened earlier this year in April, at the time with uncertain terms of whether there would be future funding rounds.

Thankfully, more rounds have been announced, so farmers can apply for another round of grant funding between 50k and 100k to support on-farm trial and demonstration projects.

Future funding dates can be found here, with round 2 opening on the 26th June and closing on the 20th August.

Farmers can also apply for a Project Facilitator grant, to support with the process from project management to strategic insight. Our CEO, Tim Isaac, is a an official Project Facilitator. Please do get in contact if you have an idea!
