If you’re looking for practical, independent insight to support your farming decisions, the Ceres Research Agronomy Club is designed with exactly that in mind.
It’s a monthly online discussion forum that brings together farmers, agronomists, researchers and industry experts to explore the most relevant agronomy topics of the moment. From crop nutrition and disease management to market trends and on-farm decision-making, each session is built to help you plan ahead with confidence.
A monthly space to stay one step ahead
Agronomy Club is delivered as a regular online session for one hour on the third Thursday of every month and built around two key elements:
- Expert-led presentations covering seasonal agronomy topics from Ceres
- Open discussion where members can ask questions, share experiences and challenge ideas
This format means you’re not just listening, you’re part of the conversation if you want to contribute to discussions.
Sessions are always focused on what matters right now and in the next couple of weeks. Whether it’s nitrogen planning, fungicide strategy, varietal choice or responding to changing weather patterns, the aim is to provide timely, practical insight that you can apply on farm.
Built on data, grounded in real-world farming
Each session draws on:
- The latest research and trial data
- Real farm insights from across the Ceres network
- Independent analysis of current challenges
The goal is simple – to help you make better decisions, not just more informed ones.
Sessions regularly explore topics such as:
- Crop nutrition and nitrogen strategies
- Disease pressure and fungicide timings
- Market trends and input cost planning
- Crop performance benchmarking and yield variation
More than a webinar
Agronomy Club is part of a wider Ceres Research Membership, which means it doesn’t sit in isolation.
Members also gain access to:
- Monthly digests and technical updates
- In-depth articles expanding on Agronomy Club topics
- Interactive benchmarking tools and dashboards
- Podcasts and skills webinars
- A growing community of farmers, researchers and Ag Innovators.
Agronomy Club acts as a regular touchpoint that ties all of this together, helping turn information into action.
Flexible, accessible, and practical
Agronomy Club is designed to fit around the realities of farming.
- Sessions are held online on the third Thursday of every month, making them easy to join from anywhere
- Webinar timings alternate between evening sessions during busy times on farm in Spring/Summer, and lunch time sessions during Autumn/Winter
- A question forum that goes out to members each month allows members to ask questions either ahead of time, or to be asked if they know they can’t make the session live
- Recordings and key points are available afterwards for all members.
Who is it for?
Agronomy Club, as part of the wider Ceres Research membership, is valuable for anyone involved in crop production or agricultural decision-making, including:
- Farmers and farm managers looking to stay ahead of in-season trends, optimise inputs, and make more confident agronomic and business decisions

- Agri-tech companies seeking a better understanding of real on-farm challenges, and a space to sense-check and discuss emerging solutions
